Sometimes, when you are lucky, you manage to find a group of people that you can stand at work. I mean like you don't want to throat punch them every time they open their mouths. Sometimes you get so lucky that you find a group of people that you actually like. And sometimes...those rare sometimes you find 'the circle' as I heard it referred to today. When you work in a cage and your only outside time is in a high fenced in raised deck you have a prison yard where the really good stuff happens. And the really nasty stuff. And the stuff you almost wet yourself laughing at. And the circle happens. You trust each other, you laugh at, err with each other, you believe in each other. And work spills over into life and it's good. But then again, what happens in the prison yard...stays in the prison yard. Until Now. Welcome to the storytelling!
The main characters in this saga must remain anonymous for obvious reasons. You'll get to know them in time. We have The Warden, Red, Looney, Waldo San Diego, and RBF. Feel like you are reading an episode of Orange is the New Black yet? Don't. It's nothing like that, we aren't actual criminals. But do, it's sassy, interesting, funny, and downright over the top at times. To have found a group of women who share the horror stories of work, who have your back, and who make you laugh you ass off, is a lifetime shot. Here's to a lifetime!
